Pay It Forward Day ~ Weston is Paying It Forward and we need your help! Wednesday, April 28 is national Pay It Forward Day. We would love for our Weston families to participate. Your child will be reading The Invisible Boy at school and each classroom will be thinking of a way to show kindness through paying it forward at school and in our community. We would like families to participate at home! Your child will be getting their own copy of the book. Please feel free to read this as a family and think of a way to pay it forward together at home. School Nutrition Program ~ On Tuesday April 20, 2021 the USDA issued further pandemic flexibilities for schools that support child nutrition programs nationwide. They announced that free meals and other meal service waivers have been extended through June 30, 2022. This allowance will ensure more students, whether on-site or virtual, continue to have access to free healthy meals for the entirety of the school year 2021-2022.

3rd Grade Families Only ~ ILEARN
Each child will need a set of working headphones for the ILEARN assessment. Headphones must be wired. No bluetooth headphones are allowed. The plug needs to be a straight plugin like shown below. Wal-Mart sells inexpensive pairs, if you are in need.

Staff Appreciation Week – Volunteer Opportunity!
Staff Appreciation Week for Weston is May 3rd-7th and we’d love your help to show our gratitude to all the staff of Weston for all that they do for our children! The PTO has created a Sign-Up Genius for volunteers to sign-up to donate food/drink items for a snack cart that will be available to staff that week. Feel free to substitute flavors listed if not available. On Thursday, April 29th, you may either send your items in to school with your child or the items can be dropped off at the home of PTO president, Jenn, at 1323 Bittersweet Drive, Greenfield. There will be a box on the porch to place items in anytime that day. Thank you for helping show the Weston staff how much they are appreciated!
