The John E. Conner Museum and the South Texas Archives, both located at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, have joined forces to provide a unique opportunity for the South Texas community. Mi Familia-Mi Comunidad project will help preserve the Hispanic culture and heritage of the region in a series of events.

The community is invited to bring their family photos and heirlooms to the Conner Museum to have them scanned and digitized during the project’s next event. Community members may bring their items to the museum from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15.
