Immigration Joaquin gomez

There are about 11 million undocumented immigrants in the US. Undocumented immigrants are often taken advantage of by people they work for. Employers feel free to pay them a low wage and ignore the dangerous conditions because the workers have no way of complaining. If they go to the police they have a risk of being arrested and deported leaving their families behind. Immigrants don't really have the privileges that US citizens have. l think that immigrants help the US.

If l were to change the law l would decrease the laws on immigration. Doing this change will help these immigrants have a good paying job and help their families live a better life. These immigrants although being illegal they still pay their taxes and the US wants to get rid of these people. In 2014, President Obama announced a government plan involving the nation’s immigrants. He signed executive orders that would prevent the deportation of as many as 4 million undocumented immigrants. Giving these immigrants a better chance of having a good life will make the United States a country worth traveling to.

Now there are some people who would disagree with me. Most people that would be against immigrants would be the Republicans. People might say that these undocumented immigrants are stealing US jobs. I disagree with this because these immigrants don't steal those jobs they fill in those jobs that US citizens might not want as a job. Most immigrants take jobs that are really dangerous and that’s really the only jobs they can get so they can’t really choose what kind of job they want. Without these immigrants the US would lose lots of money.
