Cal Ripken Jr. By: Henry Jackson

Cal Ripken Jr. drew attention from an early age by having the perfect physic of a baseball player. Cal Ripken's drive to be great ultimately made him who is today. Even though he was getting old he wanted to be the best so he put in the work he needed to and this made him the Hall of Fame player he is.

Cal shows the seven traits of leadership but the one that stands out to me is his responsibility. He shows this by showing up everyday to get better and better his teammates in the process. This is an important trait as a baseball player and a leader to be responsible for your team and making sure you are there for them at all times.

Cal Ripken was a great leader on and off the field. He showed his leadership in the community as well as leader his team. Cal was an all around person and great leader.
