Memorial Hall was built as the Art Gallery for the 1876 Centennial Exposition.
Christ Church was founded in 1695 as a parish of the Church of England.
Ford's Theater was the site of Abraham Lincoln's assassination. ( Ford's Theater is still doing shows today!)
Mt Vernon was the house of George Washington and his family. George Washington was the first U.S President.
Thomas Jefferson served in many capacities during his lifetime, but was known a the third U.S President. He is also known as the writer of the Declaration of Independence.
The Lincoln Memorial is a huge building where you can see our 16th President, Abraham Lincoln as a statue
