Canterbury Fair Treasures Needed

The Canterbury Fair is the perfect place to donate all those wonderful treasures of yours that you no longer need or want. Please set aside these special treasures to give to our Canterbury Fair in early June. The Fair thrives on all these wonderful things donated during those couple of weeks just before the Fair starts. Although it is still early in the year, we want to let you know what donations really help make the Canterbury Fair such a great success. Then as you go through the Spring - cleaning out all those things hidden in the back of your closets, buried away in your attic, or stored in your basement and garage - you can plan your donations to the Canterbury Fair.

Here are a lot of great ideas for what the Fair can use: White Elephant welcomes all clean and usable 'treasures'. Housewares, glassware, posters, framed pictures, wall hangings, picture frames, antiques & artwork, clocks, decorative knick-knacks, porcelain, linens, toys, games are all accepted. White Elephant will be limiting the large pieces of furniture, due to the space that we have.

Jewelry accepts personal decorative jewelry, handbags, scarves, hats, belts or any of the embellishments you've become tired of repeatedly wearing or that may not work anymore with your newest style.

Electronics accepts small appliances of any type (please include all manuals and instructions), printers, copiers, PC's, tablets & other tech stuff that works. All appliances should be in working order and clean. Computer games are also accepted (please include instructions if available). Flat screen televisions and computer monitors are accepted. Tube type TV sets and tube type computer monitors as well as air conditioners and refrigerators are not accepted.

Books welcomes any and all books in good condition will happily be accepted.

Children's Auction welcomes new or unused toys, books and gift cards or gift certificates for services. Children's Clothing would like your used, good condition children's clothing (infant to size 14).

Sports Goods accepts good useable sports equipment for most sports, except exercise equipment.

Silent Auction is excited to have donations for: boat cruises, sunset sales, cars, bikes, vacation homes, artwork, antiques, NYC or Two river theater tickets, Count Basie Tickets, ballet tickets, sporting event tickets, airline tickets, hotel stays, vacation homes, guitars/drums, kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards even services like tennis lessons or sailing lessons. All of these are fabulous!!

We are most grateful for all the wonderful Treasures that are donated to the Fair! Contact Herb Geiss at if you have questions!
