Robert Megennis Mazda Road to Indy Driver

in 2016, Robert Megennis competed in the USF2000 Championship Series, the first official step on the Mazda Road to Indy. this was his rookie season. at 16 years old, He was one of the youngest drivers to ever compete at this level.

ROBERT KICKED OFF 2016 WITH 2 PODIUM FINISHES: THE GRAND PRIX OF ST. PETERSBURG (STARTED P9) AND THE GRAND PRIX OF ALABAMA (STARTED P10).

ROBERT WON THE AWARD FOR ROOKIE OF THE YEAR, 48 POINTS AHEAD OF THE NEXT CONTENDER. HE WAS ALSO THE TOP AMERICAN DRIVER IN THE USF2000 SERIES.

ROBERT also won THE 2016 TILTON HARD CHARGER AWARD, HAVING PASSED 56 CARS IN 16 RACES.

Robert made the move to USF2000 after a successful season in F1600, where he featured on the podium at five of the seven race weekends including the team's first podium of the season at Watkins Glen.

IN 2017, ROBERT WILL COMPETE AGAIN IN THE USF2000 SERIES WITH AN EYE ON THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND A STEP UP TO THE NEXT LEVEL ON THE MAZDA ROAD TO INDY.
