The Red Sox 2016 Season The Red sox had a good year being a playoff caliBer team and Being lead bY six allstar players.


The offense was lead by the power hitters Hanley Rameriz, Xander Bogarts, Jackie Bradley Jr., Mookie Betts, and David "Big Papi" Ortiz. With the veteran David Ortiz being able to consitently crush the ball he set an example for the rest of the team with Xander Bogarts and Jackie Bradley Jr. Leading the team in hits.


Pitching was great with two allstar pitchers plus the cy-young winner as our ace. While these pitchers threw consitent strikes our middle infield and outfield made outstanding plays. Having three time gold glove Dustin Pedroia and allstar Xander Bogarts in the infield there were no balls getting by.

The Overall Year

With this being David Ortiz's last year he really stepped up. They started off strong but slowed down towards the allstar year but managed to make the playoffs.


The teams record was 93-69 in the AL East. In the regular season David Ortiz hit 38 homeruns.
