Churchwide Weekend Food Bag Collection, drop off bags October 10-13: We are collecting weekend food bags for children at Marie G. Davis and in the Southside neighborhood. Please pack the following items in a plastic grocery bag or gallon-sized Ziploc bag: one box of stovetop macaroni and cheese, one can of soup (with a pull-tab), one can of Vienna sausages, one package of Ramen noodles, one pack of cheese sandwich crackers, two pouches of fruit snacks, and two packets of instant oatmeal. Your gifts of welcome and presence can be a real blessing to these tired, anxious, and uncertain travelers. Chancel Choir Rehearsal, Wednesdays, 7:15 p.m.: The Chancel Choir is the keystone of our church’s music ministry. The 70+ voice adult choir sings weekly for the 9:45 and 11:00 a.m. worship services and participates in special concerts throughout the year. The requirements for membership are enthusiasm, energy, and effort; no audition is required. We work together to develop a collective sense of community — musically and spiritually — which enables us to share God’s love through music with one another and with our congregation.
