Born on April 15, 1452 in Vinci, Italy Leonardo Da Vinci was interested in painting and inventing. He is known as ''The Renaissance Man'', due to his famous work as a scientist and inventor. Leonardo is a role model applying the Scientific Method to every aspect of life, including art and music. He conducted many carefully thought out experiments and created futuristic inventions that were groundbreaking for his time. Although he served as a Military Engineer to invent advanced and deadly weapons, Leonardo was a kind and caring man who despised war.
