Downingtown Area School District A week in review

This week was a busy one for the Downingtown Area School District. Two great speakers in Jessica Lahey and Chris Herrens, the Prom Dress Sale, Urinetown the Musical at DHS East, PSSA testing and much more all occurred on this first week of Autism Awareness month.

Each year, Dream It. Do It. PA sponsors a video contest for local middle schools called, “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing”. This partnership between the commonwealth and the Manufacturers Resource Center (MRC) is dedicated to changing perceptions in Pennsylvania about advanced manufacturing careers. This past summer, Dr. Mussoline arranged for LMS to take part in this competition for the first time. A team of four students, led by Mrs. Kroboth, put together an outstanding video highlighting the great things done at a local manufacturer called, Omega Design Corporation.
