  • Dennis Banks: A Native American leader, teacher, lecturer, activist and author. He was a longtime leader of the American Indian Movement, which he co-founded in 1968 with Native Americans in Minnoeapolis
  • Clyde Bellecourt: A White Earth Ojibwe civil rights rights organizer noted for co-funding the American Indian Movement. In Clyde's childhood he fought against the forces of the authority because he believed that they didn't respect his family and other Indians.
  • Eddie Benton Banai: A fullblood Ojibwe and a member of the Midewiwin Lodge and he was active in the American Indian Movement.
  • George Mitchell: Was one of the leaders of the American Indian Movement who organized a meeting attended by 200 Native Americans.
