St. Lucy--Confirmation Saint Valeria Capone

Lucia of Syracuse, also known as Saint Lucy or Saint Lucia, was a young Christian martyr who died during the Diocletianic Persecution.

She was born in 283 AD, in Italy. She died in 304 AD, in Italy

She is the patron saint of blind and those with eye-trouble. She is celebrated in the church on December 13.

An interesting fact is -- she stood up for others and always did the right thing. She cured or at least tried to cure the people with poor eye vision and inspired them to never give up.

PRAYER-- Dear St. Lucy please cure the blind and inspire them to never give up and live their life to the fullest. Amen
