Organ Donation the greatest wealth is health

"Don't think of organ donations as giving up part of yourself to keep a total stranger alive. It's really a total stranger giving up almost all of themselves to keep part of you alive." ~Author Unknown

Did you know an average over 1,000,000 individuals die a year while waiting on the Organ Donation list. Sick people who bodies can't even support themselves need help from people like me and you. In the event of a tragic catastrophe and you are declared brain dead, or in another low brain activity state, you can save your someones life who needs your organs more than your unresponsive body does.

If you were having heart failure and was in desperate need of a heart, but doctors say organs like hearts can take year to receive. If that was you, would you want to die waiting for a heart you never revived, or let a "vegetable" die with a organ that could have saved your life? What kind a person would you be?

I know for a fact that if something happened to me that I would want my family to give consent for my organs to be donated to save ours. Organ donation is a selfless act. Anyone can make a difference.

It wont be too late for you to become an organ donor, until it is.

Giving away your organs after a tragic incidence is good because the person receiving your organ is get their healthy life back, and receiving people organs is good because someone is giving a part of themselves to you. Everyone is good within itself.

If you don't sign up to become an organ, you could be killing someone because they can't receive your organs in the case of an incident. If they don't receive your organs then you will both die when they could have lived. If you both die because you didn't donate then you cause their death making you in a way a killer. Do you really want to die with the guilt of another's death?

If know you could save someone's life, wouldn't you?
