our mission is to create and produce original content that can be used to teach, mentor, and promote the activities that enrich the lives of individuals and organizations in the greater philadelphia area.

we are looking for a dynamic self-starter with an eye for cinematography and flare for editing to join our media team in a paid internship program.

Our paid internship program is a unique opportunity to work with communications experts, entrepreneurs, and other students.

responsibilities

  • Shoot and edit using Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Design material on Photoshop
  • Assemble material into an assortment of video-based deliverables ranging from Youtube, Twitter, Facebook and other social media vehicles
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook video and any other social-based upload and sharing efforts
  • May be required to travel to on site events to shoot raw footage
  • Maintain a detailed calendar and library of communication material

requirements

  • Fluent computer skills and proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Attention to detail and a genuine love for storytelling through words and pictures, coupled with excellent writing skills
  • Working knowledge of basic video editing, video editing software, technical aspects of video production
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Pursuing BS/BA or Associates related to English, Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, Film Studies is a plus
  • At least 3 production samples to demonstrate your shooting/editing, writing/storytelling abilities

educational requirements

  • 18 years of age or older and enrolled in a college or university with an interest in one of the following: Communications, Video Production, Marketing, Journalism, Multimedia Communications.
  • Minimum of 20 hours per week with a maximum of 30 hours per week at $12/hr
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
