Grass Roots Western Dressage with Kelly & Heidi Adams

Kelly & Heidi have been actively participating in Western Dressage since 2013 and have been active in the Equine Industry since 1977. Kelly has earned an Overall World Championship title in Introductory and an Overall Reserve World Championship in Level 2. He has also been Top 5 in the World in Basic, Level 1 and Level 3. Heidi has called hundreds and hundreds of tests and has Western Dressage Calling Audios available for sale.

Kelly & Heidi have attended TTT, Advanced TTT, Judging clinics and seminars in both the US and Canada.

They have been instrumental in growing the awareness of Western Dressage through Clinics, Shows, and Demonstrations and are available throughout the world for Day Camps, Clinics, Demonstrations, and Event Support.

Their AQHA Gelding HotRodder Mike has become an outstanding Ambassador of the true partnership possible through Western Dressage.

Their clinics and day camps are unique in that you get two clinicians for the price of one! They teach with a Passion that can be felt for the discipline, the horses and the riders and each participant leaves with a much better understanding of what true Partnerships are all about.

Kelly is the "horse"man of the pair. He did a 3 year apprenticeship with Kale's Arabian Horses in the 70's and then spent time with Chuck Court gaining incredible insights into gaited horses. Since then he has worked with all breeds and seats helping each horse he works with attain that relaxed silky smooth flow of a true performance horse. He works with each horse and rider to overcome that plateau we all find ourselves at unaware of how to move forward. At every clinic he rides each horse at the stirrup level of their rider so that the needed cue or technique is exactly placed for that horse's rider. Problems fall away as the rider carries on and can actually overcome that plateau and open new possibilities they never thought possible.

Heidi is the "people" person of the pair. Since 2013 she has called hundreds and hundreds of tests and attended many judges seminars to help her develop her eye on proper Western Dressage gaits and movements and how the riders help or hinder their partnership with their horses. Her eye is incredible at helping riders make those fine adjustments to attain better partnering with their horses, and while fine tuning their gaits, and maneuvers.

People who have attended their clinics come away with a whole new appreciation of Western Dressage and how it can help so many other equine disciplines. Many reiners and barrel racers learn a whole new appreciation of their horses and the Western Dressage techniques that help them in their chosen disciplines.

The pair has also put on many shows and events. Heidi has fine tuned organizing a Western Dressage show and will help groups who are having trouble getting started.

Kelly & Heidi have closed their training stable so that they are better able to travel and help greater numbers of people enjoy this incredible discipline we call Western Dressage. They have a number of different clinics available or will tailor their instruction specifically for your group.

Do you have questions on Gaits or Maneuvers ? Are you unsure of the rules? Do you want to put on a show and don't know where to start? Kelly & Heidi have extensive experience and would love to share it with you.
