Lord has played a crucial role in Hollywood over the last several years and is a key figure in facilitating access and connections. She is best known as the founder of the longstanding, esteemed award winning HOLLYWOOD NETWORKING BREAKFAST®, which she launched on the Paramount Studios lot. Featured on K-CAL9/CBS and in VARIETY, the popular event has hosted Academy®, Golden Globe, Peabody and Emmy® Award winners and nominees, major studio and production company heads and top Hollywood professionals. Her other events have also attracted the support and participation of celebrities and A-List players, in film, TV and music, as well as the sponsorship and support of major entities UNIVERSAL PICTURES, NBC, DISNEY, ABC, WRITERS GUILD OF AMERICA, west, SCREEN ACTORS GUILD, VARIETY, HOLLYWOOD REPORTER and BACKSTAGE.
Lord is also the Founder & CEO of CREATIVE CAREER STRATEGIES, through which she guides the careers, projects and businesses of clients in and out of the entertainment industry. A Master Career Strategist, Networking Guru & former Talent/Lit Manager, she works with professionals at various levels – from ACADEMY®, EMMY®, VMA and CINE award winners and nominees to emerging talent, entrepreneurs and execs, who describe her approach as "LIFE CHANGING.”
Other activities/accomplishments include CHANGING IMAGES IN AMERICA, whose programs promote diversity; WOMEN HELPING WOMEN in Entertainment (WHW) the inventive professional networking group set to re-launch in June 2019; and LORD ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, where she is currently developing television and feature film properties.
