Cheetahs cheetahs are really fast and fierce hunters

Description

Cheetahs are smaller than other big cats that roam the African wilderness.

Amazing Adaptions

A cheetah has many incredible adaptions that help it survive in the wild and chase prey at high speeds. These include speed and sharp teeth.

Fast and Fierce

This cat's ability to chase prey is at a speed of up to 70 miles (113 kilometers) per hour makes it a fierce predator in its African and Asian habitats.

Struggling for survival

People kill the cats for sport and for their fur. They are a threat to livestock so many farmers kill them to protect their own animals.

A Cheetah's Life

A litter of cheetah cubs is generally made up of two to four cubs. Each cub weighs between 8.8 and 15 ounces (250 and 425 grams).

Cheetahs are the coolest because they run up to 70 miles (113 kilometers) per hour. That's about the speed cars drive on the highway.

Cheetahs are in danger we need to help them.
