Art 2 Projects
Zentangle Still Life Drawing
Students created their own still life drawing using markers and Zentangle patterns.
National Geographic Colored Pencil Drawings
Students chose a photograph as a reference for a colored pencil drawing. Some chose photographs from National Geographic magazines, while others chose to work from their own personal photography.
Cubism Oil Pastel Drawings
Students were introduced to Pablo Picasso and his Cubist style of work. Each student selected or designed a still life to illustrate with oil pastels.
Impressionism Paintings
Students were introduced to artist Claude Monet and the Impressionist art movement. Each student was given a piece of a Monet painting and challenged to match their landscape to the colors found in his piece.
Cardboard Self Portraits
Students were introduced to current artist Ali Golzad, who works with cardboard and creates large-scale portraits with the recyclable material. Each student created their own cardboard portrait of themselves.
We are so proud of you!
