PAST PEWTER BOWL AWARD WINNERS

Lily Bailey

SENIOR - SOCCER - COURSE 6 (COMPUTER SCIENCE) - DANVERS, MA

“From day one at MIT, Lily Bailey has been one of the most natural leaders I have ever coached. She loves everything about the game of soccer and being part of a team, and she wants to see not only herself, but also her teammates get better. The great thing about Lily is that, because she had some unfortunate injuries through her four years, she had to find a way to fill her passion for the game and lead both on and off the field – and she was up to the task. She was on the field for some big wins and she was off the field for some others, but looking back I can’t really remember which was which and it doesn’t matter – she always helped lead us to a win.” - MIT Women’s Soccer Head Coach Martin Desmarais.
  • Helped MIT lead NCAA Division III as a team in goals against average (.162), save percentage (.941) and shutout percentage (.833)
