3 kings day is not only celebrated in Puerto Rico but all over the world. Its is one of the most important celebration in the Puerto Rican calendar. Which is celebrated on January 6th.

The way the kids celebrate this day is by placing grass, hay or straw in shoe-boxes for the Magi's horses or camels. The kids who have been good will be rewarded with candy and the the kids who have been bad get dirt.
The background of this special celebration is just more than eating, gifts, and parting. The whole reason why we celebrated this way is to honor Jesus birth. Because Jesus was the child of God.
Día de los Reyes is the Rosca de Reyes, or the Wreath of the Kings is a large, oval-shaped cake filled with sweetened dried fruit, the Kings Cake symbolizes a crown. A small Baby Jesus is hidden inside the cake, commemorating the hiding of Jesus from Herod. Whoever gets the slice with the figurine has to host a party on February 2nd.
