Kyle J. Mark merit matters.

"If you're walking with your lady on the sidewalk, I still like to see a man walking street-side, to protect the lady from traffic. I grew up with that, and I hate to see something like that get lost. I still like to see that a man opens the door. I like those touches of chivalry that are fast disappearing." -Betty White

MY STORY

EPILEPSY

In January 2016 I had an epileptic seizure on an airplane. I was eventually diagnosed with Epilepsy in February of that year. I have had multiple seizures since my diagnosis, however I am currently 3 months seizure free!

My Diagnosis:

as written by Dr. Mithri Junna, MD

Mayo Clinic, Rochester. MN

"I do believe that his diagnosis is that of primary generalized epilepsy, likely of the juvenile myoclonic type. This would fit with his clinical seizure types of absence seizures, myoclonic jerks, and generalized convulsions. His EEG certainly supports this diagnosis"

Why would this Scholarship benefit me?
This scholarship will not only help with my financial obligations to Minnesota State University Moorhead, but it will help broaden and expand my academic horizons to their full potential. With this generous financial aid, it will help me focus not only on tuition but on the other necessities needed while at the University.

scholarshipscholarshipscholarshipscholarshipThis scholarship is more than an opportunity for me. It is a privilege and an honor be recognized by a caring and loving group of individuals who seek beyond the academic standard. This scolarship is very personal to me. I have been commorated for my generosity throughout the community anIt is my personal belief that academic intelligence should not be judged by one test score. Your entire college education should not be shaped around one test, but rather your cumulative grades in that subject area throughout your high school career.

Merit. Matters.

Upon request, I am willing to supply any documentation that is needed (insert defense letter)
