The battle of Gettysburg took place July 1, 1863 – July 3, 1863. The union won this battle. Gettysburg was the bloodiest battle of the Civil War, with more than 51,000 casualties.

Abe Lincoln was the president of the U.S.A and was part of the Union.Was the 16th president of the US. Beat the south.He died by getting shot in the head by John Wilkes Booth on April 14, 1865. His death was a sad one.
