Innovation Incubator Shark Tank

Students in Innovation Incubator presented their innovations and inventions to a panel of judges in the Larson Innovation Shark Tank. Thank you to the following panel members and companies/ organizations for giving their time to make this a valuable learning experience for our students: Eric Doyle and Tara Smrchek (BorgWarner); Vinod Undemane (GM); Karl Schmidt (Emicity and TSD); Rosy Elian (Marriott); Bidisha Barpujari (Tyler Technologies); Dr. Rich Beaubien (Optimum Chiropractic); and David Recker (TSD). Thanks to Mr. Fawcett for organizing this terrific activity!

8th Grade Washington D.C. Trip

Attention parents of current 7th graders-- there is still plenty of time to sign up for our 8th grade trip to Washington DC. We are so excited to add new activities and a new hotel to our itinerary. We look forward to great weather with our fall departure! See the attached flyer or contact Mrs. Lee (jlee@troy.k12.mi.us) with any questions. It's always a great time with great memories for our kids.

Diversity Club Activity

The LMS Diversity Club will also be hosting a Cultural Food Fest during the Celebration of Learning on May 20th. We are looking for volunteers to donate a dish (appetizer, entrée, side or dessert) representative of their culture. Donations should serve 10-15 people (sample size, not a full portion). Please click on the link below to participate: If you have questions about participation, please reach out to Mrs. Field, Mrs. Stys or Mrs. Garavanta.

LMS PTO Update

In addition, the LMS PTO gladly welcomes donations, which are tax-deductible. All funds go directly back to student programs and teacher grants. Donations can be dropped off in the LMS main office.
