MIC Choral Festival CG hosts rotating choir event

Lawrence North performs third in the MIC Choral Festival and sings "In Remembrance" conducted by director Brianna Holt. .

"We bring in the the top choirs from each [MIC] school and a conductor from Hanover College," Isaac Evans '19 said. "She listened to each school perform and then all of us choirs performed two songs together."

CG Singers perform "Ave Maria" conducted by Choir Director Jenn Dice.
Haley Burgh and Wilson Smith, along with Anja Reece and Tara Lacy of Carmel, perform a song they learned this summer at Song Book. "Song Book is a week long summer music intensive at the Palladium," Smith '18 said. "40 finalists got to spend a week working with various music professionals ranging from performers to college professors."

Every school present joined together to sing "Lamentations of Jeremiah" and "Blessed Be The Name" conducted by the guest professor from Hanover.
