Northampton Symphony Orchestra 2020-2021 Music She Wrote Celebrating Music by Women

It is with great sadness that we must cancel the remaining concerts of our 2019-2020 Season of Contrasts. It has been a wonderful season of concerts thus far, and we look forward to performing the remaining programmes in our 2021-2022 season. In the meantime...
The Northampton Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce our 2020-2021 season, titled "Music She Wrote". Each concert will feature at least one piece composed by a woman. You are sure to enjoy some unjustly neglected gems, including works by Florence Price, Ruth Gipps,Grace Williams, and Ethyl Smyth. We also look forward to performing some exciting standards of the repertoire, including works by Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Shostakovich, Franck, and Sir Malcolm Arnold. As always, while the NSO endeavours to present all concerts as advertised, programmes, soloists, and venues are subject to change.
