Quinton Flowers 🌺🌻🌹🌷🌼🌸💐😉

Junior quarterback Quinton Flowers has had a record setting year at the helm of the Gulf Coast Offense in 2016.

The Miami native was responsible for a school-record 37 touchdowns during the regular season - totaling 22 through the air and 15 on the ground.

Flowers led the Bulls offense to program season records in scoring, touchdowns, total yards and rushing yards. USF ranks No. 6 in the nation in rushing (291.8 ypg), No. 8 in scoring (43.6 ppg) and No. 9 in total offense (515.1 ypg).

After leading USF to a program-best 10-2 regular season record and a Top-25 ranking, Flowers was named the American Athletic Conference’s Offensive Player of the Year by a vote of the league’s coaches. Flowers became just the fourth Bull to claim a conference player of the year award and the first-ever to win it on the offensive side of the ball.

"We talk about it often, like we have to be fiending for touchdowns. We need it, we gotta have it. That's the approach we want to take. We want to be in attack mode all the time." - Willie Taggart

A Complete Quarterback

The second year starting quarterback has staked his claim as one of the most explosive players in the nation as he leads the Gulf Coast Offense. Through the completion of the regular season, Flowers ranks fourth in the country in ESPN's College Football Total QBR with a score of 85.9. He is the only player in the country with two top-10 QBR performances on the season - vs. Navy & at Memphis.

Through Week 13, he has a USF season record 1,425 rushing yards, ranking second in the country among quarterbacks and 11th overall. Of all rushers ranked in the top 20 nationally in yards, Flowers is the only one with fewer than 200 carries, sitting at 177. Flowers stands just 113 yards shy of national player of the year finalist Lamar Jackson of Louisville, but has 57 fewer attempts.

After rushing for 210 yards at Memphis on Nov. 12, Flowers became the first FBS quarterback in the state of Florida to ever rush for 1,000 yards in a season, and now owns the top two spots for rushing yards in a season by an FBS quarterback in the state of Florida.

The USF offense has posted a nation-leading streak of 16 consecutive games of scoring 30+ points
