re.tire.ment The action of leaving one's job and ceasing to work....

In order to retire we need a good financial foundation...thus the first step is having a good budget

"Budgeting 101...I promise we aren't going to make you cut all the JOY out of your life".

It doesn't matter if your living paycheck to paycheck or making six figures a year, everyone needs to know where their money is going if they want to have a grip on their finances

"Budgeting can be like going on a start with good intentions and after a few weeks..."
I love ice cream...
Dont worry we can help. Here are 3 tips for success.

1. Write it down

1. In order to understand your spending you need to know where it's going. For one month have a system that shows you where your money is going.

2. Don't make it too tight

If you make your budget too tight you'll sink.

Make sure your budget is realistic, have a little fun money built in. You only live once...and Starbucks is necessary for survival.

A settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person's behavior.

Remember that life is unpredictable, and things happen that are out of our control. When you make a budget, try to allow some extra money for variable expenses. And, be gentle with yourself if you go over your budget sometimes. It can be hard to get back on track if you let yourself get too frustrated over a mistake or two.

Budgeting will come more easily the longer you stay with it, and you will reap the rewards in years to come. Above all, remember that budgeting is worth the effort.
