Service Day 2017 Essay by Trinidi Turner and Audrie Hardin

On October 6, 2017 Paoli Jr. Sr. High School held its 3rd annual Service Day. During Service Day every student goes out into the community to help. There are many different things the students and teachers can do and accomplish on Service Day.

Most of the Service Day projects focused in Paoli. Some projects were on-campus and others were off-campus. The projects which were off-campus involved cleaning up town parks and other public areas, helping with Backpacks for Blessings and more!

At the end of the day all students and teachers gathered in the auditorium to talk and reflect on the good everyone made in the community.

As pictured above , the Tech 1 and 2 students put a new roof on Paoli's Recycling Center. Other students cleaned out bins and organized materials as well as many other things.
