Leonardo da vinci was born on April 15, 1452 in Vinci, Italy and died on May 2, 1519 in Amboise, France. In 1472 he became part of the Florence painters's guild. in 1483 he starts painting Virgin of the Rocks. In 1495 Leonardo begins to paint the Last Supper. In 1498 he starts planning a flying machine. In 1505 he starts sketching Mona Lisa and again plans a flying machine.

Leonardo da vinci was a renaissance man because he was talented in things that were important to a renaissance man, including art and science. He contributed a lot to those things. For art he had many amazing works of art like the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper. For science he explored about the human body and for engineering had plans for flying machines and parachutes, Overall Leonardo da vinci was one of the greatest renaissance man.
