HIKING

If you enjoy the outdoors, then Camelback Mountain should be at the top of your itinerary. It’s one of the most scenic spots in the city with spectacular views of Phoenix and Scottsdale. There are trails available for advanced, intermediate or beginner hikers, so everyone in your crew can tag along.

Other great hiking locations include South Mountain Park, Piestewa Peak and Papago Park.

Tip: start your hike earlier in the morning when it’s a bit cooler.

GOLF

Phoenix is known as a premier golf destination, with hundreds of courses ranging from beginner to expert. Here’s a list of Phoenix’s most popular greens to try, whether you’re an avid golfer or just prefer to ride the golf carts with a cold drink.

SPAS

If hiking and golfing aren’t for you, spend your time relaxing at one of Phoenix’s many outstanding day and resort spas. Some of the most noteworthy spas include Golden Day Spa inside Boulders Resort, the Spa at Camelback Inn, Arizona Biltmore Spa and the Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.

Experience Mesa from a different view point on a hot air balloon expedition or aerial adventure. Channel your inner Top Gun dreams and undergo a mock combat battle in the sky at Mesa’s Fighter Combat International.

If you prefer a more relaxing ride, almost all Mesa hotels have hot-air balloon services that will pick you up from the hotel.

Make sure you visit the Orange Patch, a hidden gem loved by locals in Mesa. Stock up on fresh picked citrus and taste some of the juiciest and most delicious fruits in Arizona. The orchard includes navels pink grapefruit, red grapefruit, tangerine and more
