OGS is connecting artists, musicians and performers with incentives to create, opportunities for collaboration, local resources and support for professional development and elevation, co-created spaces for community involvement, and most importantly a safe space to define, redefine and discover roles within and outside local networks. OGS is also hopes to connect the community with consciousness through provocative and novel artistic creations, a greater awareness for the creative industry, aiding in the collective consideration of art as a professional business in addition to a healthy means of personal expression. OGS connect the community with opportunities to explore and experience new interests within and outside of artistic realms.

The title "Opposition" was derived by the idea of transmuting negative energy into positive outcomes. Trauma into inspiration. Fear into hope. Darkness into light. OGS aims to encourage exploration within this invaluable life skill: how to tap into a space of fearlessness. When we live a life filled with and fueled by creation, we work to continually find that silver lining :: through and by Opposition. That's the name of the game. Through and by Opposition, our greatest successes are brought into existence.
