William Wegman dogs

William Wegman was born in 1943 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Wegman was born December 2, 1943 he is 73 years old and is still living,

Wegman takes pictures of dogs with props like the picture below.

Wegman has no real techniques on the pictures he takes he uses normal everyday photographer techniques nothing unique.

Wegman has been commissioned to create images for a wide range of projects including a fashion campaign for Acne, banners for the Metropolitan Opera and covers for numerous publications including The New Yorker and, most recently, Wallpaper.

it was not until 1986 that Wegman got a new dog, Fay Ray, and another collaboration began marked by Wegman's extensive use of the Polaroid 20 x 24 camera.

Wegman tends to use natural lighting on his works. He loves to look for that natural lighting and shoot pictures at the right time.

Wegman gets his inspiration from his love of dogs. His first dog was named Man Ray and became famous from the many pictures of him in human clothes.

There has not been any actual stories but his career basically started as a young boy he was always fascinated with art. One year he got a Polaroid camera for his birthday, which began his fascination with photography.

I love his work. I am a dog person so this is why i chose this photographer. The way he adds his props with the dogs fascinates me.
