Christmas in Romania lasts from Dec. 30th to Jan.7th. On the 30th people celebrate St. Ignatuis's Day. It's traditional that if the family has a pig the can kill it on this day. On the 6th they celebrate Sfantul Nicolae's Day (St. Nicholas).
