U.S. History through Media Design & Art

Do you want to get the required school credit for class but CHOOSE a new way that fits YOUR interests and YOUR schedule?

This program is designed to explore the history of the United States from the lens of a designer and an entrepreneur by infusing digital media technology skills with critical social science knowledge and perspective. You will engage with the historical events and cultural developments of American History by analyzing and creating visual media in order to develop a portfolio of digital design projects centered around significant American themes and developments. The goal is for you to engage with the material at a more personal level by actively participating in creating the story of American History.

This was the FINAL for the 1st semester. No silly multiple choice tests in here based on memorization. Students worked in groups to design and tell a story about and American war using photographs.
