History of plane

Not many people think of the day the first flying plane was invented. In fact, the first flying plane was made on December 17, 1903. This plane flew 120 feet in 12 seconds. The Wright brothers made this flying machine, they called it the Wright flyer. They did 3 other tests that day with the same plane. The last test the plane went 852 feet long in 59 seconds. They soon became famous and the planes they made went through the air for 31 minutes. Also, they made a company so they could build planes. Planes are the most popular way to travel today.

When your on a plane a flight attendant comes to you and asked if you want a drink or a snack, but they are there for much more. A flight attendant is trained for anything from the usual routing and if disaster strikes. They first go through a 8 week training camp to become a flight attendant. They do day in the life routines to emergency next time your on a plane, don't think a flight attendant is there to serve you drinks and snacks. They are there for your safety.

How Planes Fly

TheA pilot has three things to worry about when flying a plane. Weight, thrust, and lift. These things help the plane fly. Without these things planes would not fly at all. First the thrust in the engines help the plane keep speed. The wings help lift the plane. The wings are designed to push air under the wings to lift the plane up in the sky. The third thing that pilots have to worry about when flying is the weight of the plane. Airlines have to be carful of what is on a plane in the air. To much luggage the plane could fall out of the sky. And more weight means longer wings.

"The desire to fly is an idea handed down from our ancestors who looked enviously at birds soaring freely through space on infinite highways of the air. It is possible to fly without motors, but not without knowledge and skill." Wilbur wright. We should take these words and fill our heads of knowledge about the history of a plane or about how lucky we are that we can fly.

most copilots fly the plane. The water in the water tanks are not always clean. Pilots are always over worked and you don't know. You have more chances of dying in a car crash than in a plane. Most passengers in coach survive plane crashes.
