U.S assisted and was involved in helping Kuwait fight against intruding Iraq power. Kuwait was a major source of oil and U.S helped fight and keep Iraq out. 500,000 Americans were employed and only 124 died compared to hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis

After Gorbachev resignation, Soviet Union divided into 13 countries and the new main country Russia. US came out victorious in Cold War.

Terrorist attack in which trucks filled with bombs were parked in a garage and detonated. 6 people died and 1000 were injured.

Also known as Obamacare, this was a health care reform passed by Obama in hopes of helping with healthcare and poverty.
