Adolf Hitler was a soldier in WWI but was injured and sent to a hospital in Germany. He looked at this country and said to himself: I could take this country over. Now, 28 years later, Hitler was rising to power. He told the Germans that he could make the country great again. He also blamed the Jews for ruining Germany. On September 1, 1939 the Nazis invaded Poland. This was the beginning of WWII.

Bernito Mussolini was the dictator of Italy. He was born in 1883 and was killed by his own people in 1945. He was part of the Axis powers along with Hitler and Tojo. Mussolini was killed at the very end of WWII.
Hideki Tojo was the dictator of Japan during WWII. He decided to invade the rest of Asia and the pacific. He was part of the Axis Powers along with Adolf Hitler and Bernito Mussolini.
Francisco Franco was the dictator of Spain in WWII. He was part of the Allies along with FDR, Churchill, Stalin, Truman, and Kai-shek. He was born on December 4, 1892 and died on November 20, 1975.
In this time America was staying neutral. Under the leadership of Franklin Delino Roosevelt the nation seemed safe. This will all change when the Japanese invade Pearl Harber.
So, Adolf Hitler, Bernito Mussolini, Hideki Tojo and Joseph Stalin (later going to switch to alllies) were the Axis. And FDR, Truman, De Gaule, Churchill, and Kai-sheck were the Axis powers. This is all going to change in the next Spark Page.
