Thank You Parents And Guardians
Curriculum Night was a great success. We certainly love having the chance to explain each of our grade level expectations and outline the year's plan. However, we have also had conversations to the point that some parents enjoy the previous method of an 'open house' model involving students and parents exploring together. In order to best meet the needs of all, we will be conducting a survey during parent conferences. Hopefully you will have a moment to complete this upcoming survey to guide our future direction.

JRB Music news:
CHORUS NEWS: The JRB Chorus rehearses every Friday BEFORE school from 7:30-8:20am in the music room. We meet in the lobby at 7:25. If your child did not yet sign up and would like to join Chorus, please email Mrs. Lordan immediately at: firstname.lastname@example.org. She will send you a confirmation to let you know your child is registered and is able to begin attending rehearsals. Here is the flyer link for more information:
For RETURNING BAND STUDENTS, Advanced Band rehearsals are every Wednesday AFTER school from 3-4pm, on the stage. If your child is a returning band member and is not registered for band, please email Mrs. Lordan at: email@example.com
Jazz Band will eventually follow from 4-5pm, with START DATE TBD.
If returning band members are still in need of lessons, please email Mrs. Lordan directly: firstname.lastname@example.org
For NEW BAND STUDENTS, Beginner Band rehearsals have not started yet, but will be held on Tuesdays AFTER school, from 3-4pm, on the stage. New musicians need a few weeks of lessons under their belts before rehearsing with the rest of the band. LESSONS began this week. It is required that all band students take either private or small group lessons on their instrument, which cost $20 for each private 30-minute lesson per week (group rates generally run at $10 per 30-minute lesson). We offer mostly after school lessons here at JRB, but some instructors may offer before school lessons as well.
There are 2 steps in beginning a new instrument:
- Please order your instrument rental online if needed at: https://davidfrenchmusic.com or by calling (508) 366-5994
- Please sign up for lessons using the following link: https://forms.gle/3wdXvBm8CCLRoFaa9
MUSIC LESSONS FOR GRADES K-5

The Health Office is in need of new or gently used sweat pants or leggings in all sizes. Donations of new packages of underwear for both boys and girls are also greatly appreciated. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS!!!!☺
What's New In Grade 4?
With such great conditions lately, some of our 4th grade students have had a chance to apply their meteorology skills outside. It is always great to be able to apply what you learn in the classroom to a hands-on event!
