I want to be a news reporter for Hawaii News Now.

What is the job description?

I would work for Hawaii News Now, as a reporter. My salary would be $75,100 every year. I would get a bachelor's degree in political science, and gain experience through internships in broadcasting, or newspaper.

Where would i be working?

I would be working at Hawaii News Now, in Honolulu, Hawaii. My political science degree will be from The University of Hawaii at Manoa.

When do they hire?

There is not a specific time that Hawaii News Now hires news reporters. When a news reporter position opens up, I will be ready to take the job. Until that time comes, I will use my time to get more experience through internships, and other jobs that are similar to a news reporter.

Why does this career interest me?

I am interested in being a news reporter, because I feel that this would be a very exciting job. This job will allow me to bring my personality into my work, when sharing news to others.

How to get the job?

I will get the job as a reporter for Hawaii News Now by succeeding in college, and having a phenomenal amount of experience. Being persistent, and outgoing, will also help the process.
