Hello everyone. I hope you had a great and safe summer. We will say goodbye to summer and hello to fall.
We are very happy to enjoy this new season of the year, it is so much fun for all of us, exploring the fall, and getting to know one of the fruits that adores us this beautiful month. We also get to see the leaves and enjoy the wonderful colors again. We will stay safe, and have so much fun in a safe environment.
SENSORIAL
In this activity the children learn in a fun way that during the fall seasons we see lots of colors. The trees changes color and some even loose their leaves and that means it is autumn. The activity below children are using (the sense of touch) their hands exploring the leaves, the pumpkins, the acorns, and the scarecrow. Exploring the different leaves and the shapes of each of them as well as the different colors.
PRACTICAL LIFE
Here we exploring a very fun activity for every child as well as for the teacher in our classroom.
It is good to see that every child is interested in practicing, picking/raking up the leaves. For this work we are using a small broom and a small dustpan. This work helps the child's gross motor and concentration.
We are also learning how to transfer mini pumpkins with tweezers. It is fun for the children as it is a great motor activity.
The pink tower is a very beautiful and fun activity for each child. It requires many different steps, as we can see in the photo, they must be done in the correct order to complete the work. First, the child must take out a work mat and carry each cube one by one onto the mat. We call them "cubes".
MATH
Counting is a fun activity for children as we are now counting pumpkins, colored bears and using number puzzles. The children have so much fun and enjoy counting with our autumn unit.
ART
Art is great and fun activity for all children because it expresses their different tastes and ideas of their work as well as their creativity.
Working on a tree that had lost leaves and children were asked to glue or paint the leaves on the whither tree.
we also created a hedgehog with small colored papers, which the children enjoyed a lot.
SCIENCIE
The children collected leaves outside and put them in a basket. They really loved this activity, especially since they were outside practicing social distancing as well.
LANGUAGE
It is very important for the children to study the parts of the body. They have a lot of fun with this matching puzzle, which you can see below. They are working so hard and enjoy it a lot.
Lastly, we had a gym activity, which the children had so much fun with. They walk on the balanced beam with a ball in their hand. They cheered each other on and had so much fun.
I hope you all enjoyed the wonderful pictures of these 2 weeks. We will keep having fun and do our best to social distancing as much as we can. Just like how we have been doing. Have a great and safe week!!!
