Safety Drills

We will be conducting several of our safety drills this week. We will emphasize with our students the importance of these drills. We will conduct our Fire Drill, Severe Weather Drill, Bus Evacuation Drill, and Safety Drill this week.

6th Grade Combined Choir at UAB Honor Choir

On Tuesday, January 14, 2020, the 6th Grade Combined Choir will attend an Honor Choir Day at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. We are excited about this opportunity for our choir students to learn more about choral music.

King Holiday - Monday, January 20, 2020 - No School

3rd Grade Field Trip at McWane Center

3rd Grade students have their field trip to the McWane Science Center in Birmingham on Wednesday, January 29, 2020.

West Elementary Geography Bee

The West Elementary School Geography Bee will be on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 1:30 PM in the lunchroom.

2nd Trimester Reading Celebration

The 2nd Trimester Reading Celebrations will be February 4 - 6, 2020 at the Cullman Bowling Center. Each twelve week period, or trimester, our students set a Accelerated Reader goal with their teacher. Students who meet and exceed their goal will go to the Bowling Center for their celebration. The deadline for the 2nd Trimester Celebration is Friday, January 31, 2020.
