The Portafoilio from a 2nd semester student By: Andrés Antonio Robles D'Amico

GRAMMAR POINTS:

Unit 1: They've been making their work at the last minute, lately...
Unit 2: I eagerly await for my parents to come back from that trip.
Unit 3: I tried persuading you to change your opinion about it into a good one...I guess you really like that game.
Unit 4: It's to good to be true, it must be a fraud, unless we investigate about it, we might be wrong, who knows.
Unit 5: A: Hey, I made a coffee for you! B: Oh, you shouldn't have, I like tea better.
Unit 6: "I do know the answer." At that moment, I thought how little did anybody know how simple it was.
Unit 7: I wish you would listen to my advise, it's very important for you to know this.
Unit 8: I watched the whole thing, though, some of it's parts were a bit boring.
Unit 9: Well, what do you expect him to be with us during working hours? After all he is our boss.
Unit 10: Huh...it looks like one of the contestants has been using shortcuts to win the race.
Unit 11: If I were you, I'd hurry up. Your UBER driver is due to arrive in 3 minutes.
Unit 12: Meanwhile some places in the world have very high temperatures, others have very low ones.

My reflection about what I learned through out all of the English semester will help me to improve my English skills, and also showed me that reading can help too, with things like vocabulary.

I really enjoyed doing this booklets, since it, kind of, helped me to express my self better, I guess, and it was really fun to do, both writing and decorating, despite the decoration being really...empty?

I'm really going to miss having English class, maybe because I started learning English since I was in Kindergarden, but it was really fun to learn it, maybe because I learn it from U.S. people (is this correct?) and I think it is very important to learn english since it's becoming one of the most recognizable languages in the world.
