Trinity Sports & Leisure Centre Bridgwater, somerset

Alongside the construction of the new Bridgwater School buildings and leisure centres, Futures for Somerset have also worked closely with Sedgemoor District Council and other key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a new modern public swimming pool on the Chilton Trinity Campus. The completion of this facility enabled the provision of a full service leisure centre for the town, replacing an existing aged leisure pool.

Futures for Somerset (working closely with 1610 Ltd.) programme managed and advised on the design and development of the new community swimming pool throughout. Following completion of the pool Futures for Somerset continue to manage a leisure services contract for Somerset County Council and Sedgemoor District Council for the delivery of leisure services from this and other Bridgwater site with 1610 acting as our leisure services provider.

The Trinity Leisure Swimming Pool Project cost in the order of £8 million pounds. The leisure centre has developed an excellent reputation within the local community and the leisure services continue to exceed all expectations, meeting all contracted requirements and delivering beyond the contracted performance targets.
