Chaco Culture Fun! By: Cara Tiesi

How I got there: I got there by driving 1 day and 3 hrs to get to New Mexico. I drove with my best friend, Kendall. We are planning on staying 3 nights. We are camping for $15.00 per night.

Day 1: On day 1, we woke up and ate breakfast. After that we went on hiking trails and biking trails. We also went through guided tours to learn about the National Park. And we went to the Chaco National museum and it had a lot of ancient culture things but you couldn't touch them. The museum is primarily an archaeological research collection documenting the full range of historic and prehistoric occupations of Chaco canyon.

Day 2: On day 2, after we woke up we went stargazing at the International Dark Sky Park. It was so much fun! It has been considered one of the best places in America to stargaze. Then after that we did an evening campfire talks. They were pretty cool too.

Day 3: On our final day. Day 3, we we went on even more hiking trails and biking trails because we liked those a lot. Later that night we went to a night sky program. The next morning, we checked out and Kendall and I started our 1 day and 3 hr trip back home.
