The Legend Of The Dreamcatcher

There once was an old Indian spiritual leader that sat high on the mountains. He had a vision; Iktomi- also known as the Great Trickster and teacher of wisdom and appeared in the form of a spider in front of the old man. The two of them spoke all day about life cycles and all different types of forces. Legend says a Dreamcatcher is supposed to help you with your dreams, ideas, goals, and visions. If you believe in the Great Spirit the web will catch your good ideas and good dreams that are captured in the web of life and carried with them. But the evil dreams escape through the centers hole and are no longer apart of them. There are many different directions and forces that can help or interfere with the harmony of nature and also with the Great Spirit and all of the wonderful teachings. Dreams were messages sent by the sacred spirits. The old Indian leader at the end of the day went home and shared the dream catcher with all his people. His people hung it in their homes or above the beds to catch the good or bad.

The moral of the story is a dream catcher can keep you safe while sleeping; also keep positive vibes and thoughts.
