Let's Get down to buffet business!

IN THE IMAGES BELOW WE'VE PUT TOGETHER AN Indoor BUFFET. WE'VE STRUCTURED IT SO THAT GUESTS CAN SERVE THEMSELVES FROM EITHER SIDE. ALONG WITH THE HOT ITEMS IN THE BUFFET CHAFER (RECIPES FOLLOW) WE'VE INCLUDED A NUMBER OF COMPLEMENTARY COLD ITEMS INCLUDING PASTA and grain SALADS, as well as steamed and grilled vegeTables. Our team made these from scratch but if you're looking to save some tIme, your SuperMarket's deli dEpartment can help out.
HERE'S A CLOSEUP LOOK AT OUR SPREAD. WE'VE INCORPORATED MANY OF THE IDEAS IN THE 'BUFFET MASTERY' INFOGRAPHIC EARLIER IN THE PRESENTATION. WE ALSO SET UP THE THE DRINKS TABLE IN A SEPARATE AREA TO CUT DOWN ON CONGESTION. Notice also that we've included flameless pillar candles in the set up. These add a nice bit of ambience and Eliminate the risks associated with 'live' candles.

TWO BUFFET CHAFER RECIPES

It's a bit of a stretch to call these 'recipes', as they both can be taken from the freezer section of any supermarket, (but unless you spill the beans, your guests will never know).

First up: Breaded butterflY shrimp

Makes about 40 Pieces

BREADED BUTTERFLY SHRIMP

Makes about 40 pieces

Ingredients & cooking instructions

one 20 ounce box frozen butterfly shrimp

Preheat oveN to 425 DeGreEs (fahrenheit)
Arrange frozen shrimp in a single layer on bakinG sheet and place on middle rack of oven.
Bake 12 minutes
For best results, turn product over halfway through cooking time.

Next up: Chicken mini egg rolls

Makes 40 pieces

CHICKEN MINI EGG ROLLS

Makes 40 pieces (serves 10 or so)

INGREDIENTS & COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

40 frozen mini chicken egg rolls

Preheat oven to 425 degrees (fahrenheit)Remove egg rolls from carton and inner wrapper
Cook on baking sheet 12 to 14 minutes till crispy and golden brown.
Remove from oven and serve.

WE SUGGEST SETTING UP YOUR BUFFET CHAFER (SEE VIDEO AT BEGINNING OF THIS PRESENTATION) ABOUT 45 MINUTES BEFORE GUESTS ARRIVE.

HAVE REMAINING ITEMS PLATED/PLATTERED AND READY TO GO. ARRANGE THESE ON THE BUFFET TABLE ABOUT 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOU OPEN THE DOOR.
