AN EVENT SUCH AS FLOOD, EARTHQUAKE, HURRICANE AND CYCLONES E.T.C THAT CAUSES GREAT DAMAGE OR LOSS OF LIFE ARE CALLED NATURAL DISASTERS. IN METEOROLOGY, A CYCLONE IS A LARGE SCALE AIR MASS THAT ROTATES AROUND A STRONG CENTRE OF LOW ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE. THEY ARE USALLY CHARACTERIZED BY INWARD SPIRALING WINDS THAT ROTATE.
