To Kill a Mockingbird What Gifts Will You Give?

Harper Lee was raised in Mobile, Ala. and her first and only novel was published in 1960. She died in 2016.
Scout and the relationship with her neighbor Boo Radley and her father Atticus are key points in the story.

The novel is set in the 1930s in the rural south in a fictional town called Maycomb. The events in the story mirror real world events--the Scottboro Trials where 9 Black men were accused or raping two white women on a train. This occurred when Lee was 5 years old, and it became the bases of her novel.
