Intro:Description:Sea turtles are characterized by a long, streamlined shell. Depending on the species, sea turtles color range can be olive-green, yellow, greenish-brown, reddish-brown, or black. Limbs and flippers are adapted for swimming. Adult male and female sea turtles are equal in size.

Intro:Habitat: Shallow coastal waters, bays, lagoons, estuaries and occasionally the open ocean.

Intro: the sea turtles category: they belong in the Animilia Kingdom and is classified in the reptile family.

Intro: with research done, it is possible that they first evolved around 245 million years ago and roamed the earth around the late triassic period.
